Students from Pittsburgh Arsenal participated in a unique silkscreen project designed to promote community among the many cultures that make up the school. Ten fifth grade students and ten eighth grade students created designs that represented their Rites of Passage from their home country to America.  Students from Africa, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, India, Salvador, and the United States took part in this project.  The twenty students printed their designs onto painted backgrounds and onto shirts at AIR.
